Dr. Nichols is a licensed psychologists, an AASECT certified sex therapy supervisor, and a WPATH certified GEI mental health providor and mentor. Since she sold the Institute for Personal Growth in 2018 she maintains a small private practice in Jersey City.
Dr. Nichols’ clients are primarily: members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community, including kinky people and those who practice consensual nonmonogamy, and individuals and couples who want sex therapy. She is trained in sex therapy, EMDR, and Imago therapy and considers her approach eclectic. She is known for being direct, open, and down to earth.
Currently, Dr. Nichols is available for consultations and assessments and for therapy with clients who have seen her in the past. She is also taking on a limited number of new clients in her areas of specialization.
